Origin story · Why BOX now lives inside LKSB
BOX did not start here. It started as Tissue Box, a Web3 membership experiment at splalabs.xyz. The product worked: it proved that a low-ticket on-chain membership with a real utility loop (rewards + referral + credential) could attract and retain real holders. What the original structure didn't have was a grown-up corporate wrapper — a US-domiciled parent that could hold IP, sign partnerships, file taxes, and run Stripe rails at scale.
In 2026 the Tissue Box shareholders elected to transfer the entire cap table, treasury, contracts, and brand to LKS Brothers LLC (Nevada). The reason was plain: safety. A single US LLC with a known CEO, a known address, and a known banking profile is a far more defensible home for a live Web3 product than a loose dev collective. Keys, treasury, and multisig signers were re-issued into LKSB-controlled web3 wallets; the brand was renamed from Tissue Box to BOX; and the dApp was re-skinned under the LKSBROTHERS umbrella you see today.
Every BOX holder since that transition has been buying into the LKS Brothers LLC balance sheet — not into an anonymous multisig. That is the safety guarantee, and the reason the product now ships with "Tax Reduction · Smart investment for your future" at the top of the hero: a portion of every BOX flows into the LKS Donation Company / charitable-organization arm, and the receipt sits inside a compliant US entity you can actually write off against.
